Mr. James C. Williams, Sr. known to most as J.C., was born on September 20, 1945 in Calhoun, Alabama, son to Noah and Mary Williams.

He was educated in Mobile, Alabama Public School System. He later went on to service in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie Williams; his mother, Mary Williams; sister: Ethel Williams Hodge (Butch); daughter: Tina Williams Snell; sons: James C. Williams, Jr. (special friend, Lavette) and Kenneth Williams (Chasity); special nieces: Danielle Ford and Leshea Williams; special nephew: Taylor Hodge; eight grandchildren: Octavius, DeQuan, Carlitia, Jainya, Chloe, Calaysiah, Cornelius Jr., and Noah; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

His Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of him as gone away 
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets 
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost 
and he was loved so much.
