Mrs. Eva Person the oldest of six siblings was born on January 29, 1917 to the union of Preston Lewis and Beulah H Lewis.

She departed this life for her Heavenly home on June 18, 2017.

She was a loving wife,mother and sister. She enjoyed gardening and reflecting about the "good old days".

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Mariah Baptist Church . She later joined the Center Ridge Baptist Church of Mt Andrew, AL after the family relocated to the Mt. Andrew Community.

She served faithfully on the Usher Board and was a dutiful member. After relocating to Dothan, AL, she joined the Burdeshaw Street Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully until her health failed.

She married at a young age to Charlie Walker to this union one child was born. She later married Carlisle Person to this union four children was born.

One son Grady Person preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories sons: Vernon Walker(Ruth) Fort Mitchell, AL, Spencer Person (Elaine) Atlanta, GA; daughters: Catherine Person Dothan, AL, Theresa Person Dothan, AL; one sister: Savalla Fitzpatrick Dothan, AL; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a host of nieces ,nephews cousins and friends.
