To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the Heaven; a time to be born and a time to die.

On Tuesday, October 10, at 10:00 p.m. God chose this time for Joe to leave this earth and join him in Heaven. Born on October 23, 1959 in Columbia, South Carolina to the proud parents of the late James Edward and Ella Mae Bryant, where he learned at an early age about the power of prayer.

"Joe Baby" known by many in his early childhood he desired to be obedient to God's word and to walk humble with him. Joe grew up in Dothan, AL (Lakeview Community) and attended Dothan High School and graduated in 1977 after graduating from high school he later joined the United States Army. Joe Nathan now joins his mother, father and grandparents who preceded him in death.

He will be solely missed by his family, friends and acquaintances.

Joe Nathan leaves to cherish his love and memories, his lovely wife of thirty-four years, Lisa Jean Gordon Bryant; one daughter, Candace Latrice Bryant; two sisters: Sandra G. Harris Bryant, Dothan, AL and Cynthia (John) Lyman, Dothan, AL; two brothers: Michael (Vivian) Bryant, Charlotte, North Carolina and Vernon E. Bryant, Tallahassee, FL; mother and father-in-law; Max and Vinnie Pearl Gordon; five sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a special aunt, Bettye J. Guy, Dothan, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
