Mr Jefferson has to be the most precious man I have ever known. He was a perfect resident and always so kind to all. I have grown to love him ( and Ms B ). They have lived at Glen East close to 5 years. I will miss his smiling face tremendously! My prayer are with Ms B, Chris and the rest of the family. Becky Hutto

Our hearts are heavy, yet our Spirits are comforted. Missing him greatly and shall always hold dear his undaunted consistency in visiting the sick regardless of the distance. He always checked on the widow's (accompanied by his wife), and never forgot the elderly. Uncle never thought of himself as elderly! Uncle/Cousin/Cutn Robert Lee was the truest replica of the Word's description of a Deacon whom I have ever known. He remembered family and friends always depicting that same caring character. Even as he was bound to his bed he endeavored to show all who visited genuine hospitality: offering water, juice, food, whatever he had he made all welcome to such as he has give I unto you! We shall never forget our last visit with him, we sang together (his joy in life, church was in him) and prayed together. Came away looking forward to seeing him again, and again, yet not this way. Looked forward to celebrating his 100th year birthday with him, Our Lord has made that event more glorious for him being honored with that which he lived to obtain! Tearful eyes, heavy hearts, yet our souls rejoice in knowing you are in the Comforting Eternal Joy of the Lord! Love you family let's hold up the standard he displayed, rejoice be exceedingly glad for him, he made it home safe!
