The late Allen Harris was born on May 11, 1934 in Summer Georgia. He was the son of the late Willie and Royaline Harris.

He was employed for about 30 years at Interpace, Cats Rill, New York. After moving to Dothan, he worked at Winn Dixie for almost 18 years.

He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Hudson New York and New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Dothan, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie and Royaline Harris; his son: Willie F. Harris; his brothers: Foy Harris, Leroy Harris, and Willie Harris, Jr.; four sisters: Bernice Harris, Annie Slade, Mary Frances Collins and Dorothy R. Moore.

To always cherish his memory his leaves a loving and devoted wife for 55 years: Mrs. Mattie Harris; three daughters: Shenita (TJ) Lomax, Leanor (Leorard) Dawson and Ann L. Barber; one son: Ricky Moore; brothers: Robert Harris and Frank Tuff; one sister: Willie Zell Thomas; eight grandchildren; three sister-in-law: Geraldine Harris, Amy (Bobbie) Clark, Bobbie Jean Barnes and Maude Stevens and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
