Willie J. White

Mr. Willie J. White of Dothan, Alabama departed this earthly life on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the age of 78.

Brother Willie J. White, Sr. was born on December 22, 1944 to Luvine R. and J. V. White, and was raised in Grimes, Alabama.

Brother White shared a Brick Masonry Company for over 40 years with his brother, A. V. White. He was a baseball coach at many of Dothan Recreation Centers. He never retired just slowed down a little.

He was a faithful Trustee and Steward of Hines Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Willie was a true “Man of God”, who helped anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers: William White, Bob Earl White, Lee A. White and Jerry White.

Brother White leaves to cherish his memories to his wife: Rosetta W. White; three sons: Terrance L. (Connie) White, Chris (Pamela) White and Willie (Patricia) White, Jr., and a daughter, LaShea (Demetrius) Lane; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two brothers: Joe (Sue) White and A. V. (Catherine) White; two sisters: Dinah (James) Bryant and Cynthia (Eddie) Wooten; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
