Willie Lee Warren

Mr. Willie Warren, age 77, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2020 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 11 AM at Georgette L. Scott's Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Willie Lee Warren was born in Henry County, Alabama on July 24, 1942 to the late Leroy Warren and Bessie Warren.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was educated in the Henry County High School System.  

He was united in Matrimony on November 6, 1986 to Annie Griffin.  He worked at Howell Plywood for thirty-five years.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, taking people to appointments and enjoying his family and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Otis Warren, Fred Warren and Jimmy Warren; one sister-in-law: Inez Griffin; and one brother-in-law: Willie Gene Griffin.

He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted wife: Annie Lois Warren; three children: Takelia Griffin, Richardo Griffin, and Carvis (Ashley) Griffin; four grandchildren: Zlyion and Zane Griffin, Nigeria Griffin, and Malaysia Griffin; one sister: Linda Cooks; one brother: Jerome Warren; two aunts: Norma Lee Welch and Starla Bolden; mother-in-law: Mary Griffin; five sisters-in-law: Mary Bryant, Janice Griffin, Doris Griffin, Wanda Griffin, and Rhonda Griffin; brother-in-law: Fred (Tracy) Griffin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends; one special friend: James Lee.
