Willie Earl Smedley

Mr. Willie Smedley, age 77, of Ozark, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.

Willie "Bubba" Earl Smedley was born March 5, 1943 to the late Willie C. and Nellie Smedley.

Earl served in the military, where he served his country well; including: two tours in Vietnam.  He received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Expert Badge M-16 Rifle, three Overseas Bars, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/ Palm Bronze Star Medal.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one sister: Elizabeth Coleman; three brothers: Dell Smedley, Freddie Smedley, and Henry Smedley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
