Willie Nell (Johnson) Sherman

Willie (Mae) Nell Sherman was born on December 31, 1941, to the late Press Johnson and Mary L. Johnson. Willie Nell accepted Christ early and became a member of Dothan Community Church in Dothan, AL.

Wille Nell was a certified nursing assistant, the head of housekeeping for Flowers Hospital for over 20 years, and the supervisor over housekeeping for Health South for over 10 years. She loved her church, family, community, and friends.

Willie Nell will be missed by her children the late Nuite (Terri) Drew Price Sherman, Roland Sherman, Grace (Brian) Sherman White, and special daughter Ramona Battle. A Special love who preceded her in death Robert Cameron, Sr.  Siblings who preceded her in death are as listed, Gladys Mathis,  Ardis Johnson, and W. C. Johnson. Brothers Johnny (Odessa) Johnson, Amos Johnson, Otis (Jeanett) Johnson. Grandchildren Jordan, Quia, Sheresa, Tierra, Bierra, and Nuite. Great grandchildren Syncere, Qimara-Lisa, Marquise, Nikos, Angel, Gracelynn, and CJ.  Great great grand McKenzie. Special niece Gracie Brewer, special nephews Kim Mathis, and Jerome Mathis, and a special mention to Martha and niece Rosie who cared for Willie Nell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
