Willie James Lemons

Mr. Willie James Lemons was born to the late Mary E. Lemons and James Lemons on December 12, 1948, in Dothan AL.  Willie was called to his heavenly home on Monday, February 23, 2026 peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

 Mr. Lemons attended Carver High School in Dothan, Alabama.  His hobbies included fishing, working on electronics.  He enjoyed listening to the blues and watching horror movies. 

 Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Emma and James Lemons; sister—Rosemary Lemons; Aunt—Nellie Trailer; Uncle—Elijah Underwood; Niece—Lisa Worthy; Nephew—Jermine Jackson.

 He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sons—Robert McDonald and Michael Mays; brothers—Booker Lemons, Bobby Underwood and Michael Lemons; Sisters—Mary Blandenburg, Vernella Trammell (Walter) and Annie White (Derek) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

 Willie touched our hearts and left us with so many cherished memories.  Although a limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me, remember the best times and the laughter.  He will truly be missed.
