Willie Junior Greenwood

Mr. Willie Greenwood, Jr., age 57, of Hope Hull, Alabama passed away Friday, February 14, 2020.

Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2020 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the J.L. Trawick Memorial Chapel, 1048 Martin Luther King Jr Avenue Ozark, Alabama 36360.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 12 PM at St. Rose Baptist Church, 6967 County Road 33 Skipperville, Alabama 36374.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Magnolia Cemetery, 1348 County Road 41 Skipperville, Alabama 36374.

Mr. Willie Junior Greenwood was born September 27, 1963 to the late Mattierine Greenwood and Mr. Willie Stuckey, Sr.  He was the sixth child of a family of ten.  He had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior.

He started working as a young man, at the age of sixteen, and didn't stop until the Lord told him to rest.  While we are unable to measure him by the perceived establishment of success, we know he was successful in things that mattered.  He had a good name, good character, and loved his family and friends.

His first and most important job was with Casey Feed, LLC. Company; where he worked for almost ten years.  He will be best remembered for his ability to tell the most colorful stories and jokes.  He could even make you laugh at a funeral.  He loved life and will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Johnny Washington and Ronnie Greenwood and sisters: Della Godson and Martha Greenwood.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife: Mrs. Karla Greenwood; seven children: Teneisha Sharpe, Willie Greenwood, Jr., Sheena Hill, Domanique Stinson, Sherman Lucus, Jasmine McCoy and Karla Griffin all of Montgomery, Alabama; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters: Patricia Wilson, Ester Covington and Linda Youngblood; brothers: Mixon Hunter and Robert Washington, and countless nieces, nephews, one aunt, two uncles, and other relatives and friends.
