Willie C. Daniels

Mr. Willie Daniels, age 74, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Friday, March 12, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Willie C. Daniels, AKA "Red" Daniels, was born December 30, 1946 in Dothan , Alabama.  He graduated from Carver High School with the class of 1966.  Shortly after graduating from high school, Red served in the United States Army and was later honorably discharged after three years of service.  He later continued his education by obtaining an Associate's Degree from Wallace College and a Bachelor in Education Degree from Troy University.  Upon graduation, Red became an educator in Troy, Alabama.  Later, he expanded his career with the city of Dothan; where he retired as a Fire Captain.

He is preceded in death by his father: Wysee Daniels; mother: Caldonia Teague; and sister: Evelyn Daniels Miranda.

He leaves in mourning, his brothers: Richard Daniels and Louis Teague along with is children: Camella Brown, Javier Dibbrell, Kendall (Chancy) Jones, LaKisha (Derrick) Brown, Vernita Long, Daniel Mills, Zeke Ransom, and Ricky Edwards.  He also leaves in bereavement a special niece and nephew: Sheila (Michael) Jones and Kenneth Moffitt, other family members and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
