Ulasese Louis

Ulasese Louis was born on July 22, 1941 to the late proud parents: John M. Lewis and Gladys Wheeler in Dothan, Alabama.

Early in life he moved to New Jersey where he met his wife Mary Francis Locklear, Later in life they moved to Dothan, Alabama to care fir his mother and began working with Lewis Associates Construction Company from which he retired.

Mr. Louis was a dedicated father and grandfather. He loved his children  dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Mary Francis Louis; his brothers: Bobby Lewis and Cecil L. Lewis; a sister: Dorothy J. Webster.

On November 9, 2024, the Lord called Ulasese Louis home to be with the Lord.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Johnny C. Lewis of Abbeville, Alabama, Nathaniel Locklear of New Jersey and Denise Locklear (Eric) McKinnon of Dothan, Alabama; his brothers: John H. (Dorothy) Lewis of New Jersey, Ezell Lewis, Willie Charles (Geraldine) Lewis, twin brothers: Larry and Gary Wheeler of Dothan, Alabama and Willie James Lewis of Webb, Alabama; his sisters: Ethel Lee Quinones of New York, Loretta Mitchell of New Jersey, Arie Bell (Roy) Calhoun, Brenda Inestroza of Kentucky, Elouise (E.B.) Washington of Headland, Alabama, Martha Jewel Culver of Dothan, Alabama, Lucille Durry, Dorothy Reeves of Ashford, Alabama; his sister-in-law: Julia Williams of Dothan, Alabama whom he enjoyed spending time with. His legacy continue to flourish through his adoring nine grandchildren: Najeerah Williams, Shadaiah Louis, Isasiah Locklear, Devin Locklear, Azaria McKinnon, Eric A. McKinnon, Jamilla Cooper, Taylor Locklear and Nathaniel Locklear; and six great grands. He was a devoted father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
