Travoris Jamal "Big Gucci" Jackson, a native of Dothan, Alabama, passed away peacefully in Birmingham, Alabama on November 5, 2023. Born on October 14, 1994, he was a beloved son, father, brother, and grandson, who touched the lives of many with his thoughtful and gentle spirit.


Travoris, known to many as "Big Gucci," was the cherished son of Larry Lee Jackson and Nikki Dozier. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of joy to his siblings, Amber Jackson, Brandon Dozier, Larry Harris, Jeremy Harris, April Harris, Trad’desa Williams, Alexus Jackson, and Isaiah Tinsdale, who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and resilience. 


Big Gucci was a devoted father to Gabby Jackson Starks, Mya Jackson Starks, Jamari Jackson, Khyson Jackson West, Jacceion Jackson, and Braylen Williams. His love for his children was evident in his constant efforts to provide for them and create a beautiful life for his family. His parents, siblings, and children were the pride of his life, and he often expressed his love for them through his actions and dedication.
In addition to his immediate family, Travoris is survived by his loving grandmother, Mary L. Davis, and his grandfather, Johnny (Barbra) Anderson. His absence will also be deeply felt by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends who have shared in his life’s journey.

 

Big Gucci was known for his hardworking nature and the mentality of a hustler. He was a man who believed in the dignity of work and the importance of responsibility. He was a private man yet his outgoing personality shone through, captivating all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was also known for his impeccable sense of style, often referred to as Mr. PTSO - short for "Prepared To Show Off." Travoris was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his presence always brought joy to those around him. His generosity was legendary, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He had a heart of gold and was loved and admired by many.


Travoris "Big Gucci" Jackson was a man of integrity, kindness, and humor. He will be remembered for his love for his family, his hardworking nature, and his unforgettable personality. His loss is deeply felt by his family and friends, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and dedication, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him. In remembering Travoris, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those he left behind.
