The beautiful beam of light and joy named Tiffany came to Earth from Heaven on June 14, 1975. Tiffany was welcomed, embraced, and loved by her Mother and a host of relatives and extended family. A beautiful child, from an early age Tiffany exuded a sweet smile, demeanor, and boundless aptitude for spreading love to those around her.
Tiffany attended Dothan City Schools and graduated from Dothan High School in 1995. Tiffany is remembered by her classmates as one who participated in school and extracurricular activities such as both the marching and symphonic bands, with a joy and zeal that was infectious to others. It was hard to have a bad day when you were around her. After graduation, she attended Wallace Community College which was the impetus to her career choice in the medical field.
A life-long member of Stringer Street A.M.E Church, Tiffany loved and was active with the Y.P.D, the Women’s Missionary Society, the Lay Organization, the Choir, and Sunday School. A beautiful soul, the praise of God was continually in her mouth. Her faith was a defining feature of her life and was evident in everything she did. Her family and friends always said, “one thing about Tiffany, she’s going to go to church”. That is why we can rejoice today, because we know that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
At the time of her demise Tiffany was employed by Southeast Health. She was an active member of Wiregrass Elks Lodge 566.
Tiffany was welcomed to heaven by her maternal and paternal great-grandparents; her maternal and paternal grandmothers and a paternal grandfather; her maternal great uncles and aunt; and a brother, Clifton Bolden.
She leaves to cherish her memories and will always be held close to the heart of her mother Annie Nell (Ann) Reaves, and stepfather Micheal Reaves. Her grandfather LeRoy Afford (Sarah) who doted on her and everyone knew she was the “apple of his eye”. Her beloved sisters, Sharon (Clifton) Johnson; Kimberly Bigham; Kimeasha Curry and a brother Octavian Mayes. Her loving Aunts Donna (Joel) Stewart, Jacquelyn Afford and Uncle H. James Patterson. Her “hearbeats” Jabriyah, Jaden, Makayla, Jalia, Braylon, Colin, Kinsley, Sevyn, and Legend.
Additionally, those who love her and will miss her signature wave and smile are: Her life long best friend “Angel” Byrd-Heard; her Sister/Cousins, Daphne Miree, Alexis Hutchins, and Rachel Bolden. Her “Aunt” Rose Evans-Gordon and a host of friends, co-workers and relatives left behind whose lives she touched.
As believers we know that God makes no mistakes, we accept his will and sovereignty.
