Mrs. Tammy Reese, age 50, of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Drive through visitation will be Friday, June 11, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11 AM at North Range Street Church of Christ, in Dothan, Alabama.
Burial will immediately follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park, 1700 Barrington Road, Midland City, Alabama 36350.
On November 15, 1970, Tammy Renette (Thomas) Reese was born to the proud parents of Freddie and Jeanette Thomas of Webb, Alabama.
Tammy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and was a strong and faithful member of North Range Street Church of Christ for many years. She was an exceptional and hardworking employee at Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center for 29 years up until her illness. She was the best wife, mom, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend anyone could ever ask for.
On January 15, 2020, Tammy was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. She had multiple hospitalizations during her battle with cancer.
On Friday, June 4, 2021, God called his good and faithful servant Home to be with him.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father: Freddie Charles Thomas; grandmother: Mildred Thomas; and sister: Wanda Thomas.
She leaves, to cherish her loving memories, her husband of 32 years: Willie Ervin Reese; daughter: Tanisha (Eddie) Pearce; sons: Ervin Reese, Jr. and Kolby Reese; mother: Jeanette Thomas; sisters: Denette Thomas, Angela Sheffield, Sue (Greg) Thomas Norton of Dothan, Alabama and Wanda (Calvesta) Thomas Campbell of Miami, Florida ; brothers: Tony Thomas, Freddie Thomas, Sr., and Tyrone Thomas; grandchildren: Makayla Pearce, Makiyah Pearce, Malachi Pearce, Maleah Palmer, Jayden Reese, Jamar Reese, Travis Reese, Shaniya Reese, and Omarious Reese; special friends: Robin Paul, Shenika Ford, Shanna Rivers, Doretha Platt, and Andrea Parker; her "right hand": Trinity Freeman, who cared for her during her last days with hospice and other relatives and friends. The family is appreciative and loves everyone that was a part of her life as she did.
