Today, we celebrate one of God's most precious and unique creations, Tammy Pittman.  Tammy was born on November 24, 1966, to Johnson and Willie Mae Pittman, in Ashford, Alabama.

Tammy joined Mount Carmel Baptist Church, in Ashford, Alabama, at an early age.  She was a member of the Youth Choir and Sunday School department, until she moved to Dothan, Alabama and joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

She was a licensed cosmetologist and did hair until she was unable to do so.  After a short illness, the word called this unique soul and said "Come home, for you have labored long and true.  So, now, it's time to rest."

She was preceded in death by her father: Johnson Pittman; grandparents: Roy and Gertrude Pittman, Will Thomas, and Georgia Lee Hicks; aunts: Lucy Mae Jackson, Bernice Dickens, Georgia Allen, and Ada Freeman; uncles: Jack Pittman, Edward Pittman, Roy Pittman, Will Pittman, Wellman Pittman, and Willie James Jackson; and cousins: James Allen, Dennis Jackson, Brenda Shepard, Rickey Dickens, Hubbie Dickens, June Pittman,  Rosetta Pittman, Frank Pittman, and Jack Freeman.

Tammy leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Erico Pittman of Dothan, Alabama, Tamara (Tez) Smith of Ozark, Alabama, and Treyvis (Mekia) Smith of Dothan, Alabama; her loving and caring mother: Mrs. Willie Mae Pittman; grandchildren: T'Keyah, Kumarei, Prince, Zuri, Niijah, and Gabe; sisters: Robin (Dwane) Jackson of Dothan, Alabama, Ann Pittman Brock of Jacksonville, Florida, and Brenda Pittman Robinson Major of Miami, Florida; aunt: Mae Francis Snell of Dothan, Alabama; special friends: Janie Batman, Margaret Dawsey and Ernestine Hammock; two very close cousins: Rhonda Snell and Sandra Snell; and a host of other loving cousins, relatives, and friends.
