Shirley Ann Wimberly was called Home on Sunday November 16th, 2025 at her residence. Born in Blakely,Ga on October 10, 1955 she was the beloved daughter of the late Sara L. Wimberly & James Wimberly.
She was a loving , caring & humble person . Had the biggest heart, had a passion for cooking and always welcome everybody with open arms .
At a young age, Shirley became a member of St. Maryland Missionary Baptist Church, where she proudly served as an Usher.
Shirley was preceded in her death by her beloved son Micheal Wimberly, beloved sisters Lisa Wimberly-Ingram & Vicky Anthony(Williams), her beloved brother Willlie James Wimberly
She leaves to cherish her memories 4 sons Nathan(Alice) Wimberly, Eric Wimberly, Dontevius(Tarisha)Wimberly & Malik Salway all of Blakely, Ga. 11 Grandkids Lisa, Neko, Jhentoria (Quez), Shon, Ashley(Jaquell), Quesha, Erica Javiah, Quadarius, TyCiana, Royal). 22 Great Grandchildren. 3 Sisters Patricia(Arthur)Mays, Sharon(Eric) Cawthon, Charlotte Anthony. 6 brothers: Randy(Rachel) Wimberly, Willie C. Anthony, Sonny Wimberly, Herman Wells, Bobby Dawson. 1 Brother N Law Tracy Williams. One uncle Lee Wright Columbus, Ga , One aunt Beverlye Wright of Blakely, Ga several of nieces and nephews a host of cousins and friends, a special friend one who she loved and we all thank dearly Ms. Mary Jackson(Penny).
