Sean Kevin Banks

Mr. Sean Banks, age 46, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, June 8, 2020.

Drive Through visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Sean Kevin Banks was born October 10, 1973 to John Banks and Linda Scott in Miami, Florida.  Sean grew up in Columbus, Georgia. in Cedar Hills, where he made lifelong friends that loved him like family.  He attended Hallie Turner Private School in Columbus, Alabama.

In 1998, Sean moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he was gainfully employed as a machine operator for many years.

He returned to Dothan, Alabama in 2014 to be home with family.  Sean loved watching movies and sports.  His favorite teams were Florida State Seminoles and Miami Heat.

Sean was a loving and caring son, who was loved dearly by his parents.  He was his mom's protector and took great care of her.  He loved life and was loved by man,  Sean was a generous and kind-hearted man.  He had a handsome smile and he loved to talk.

Sean was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Fred Alexander; his paternal grandparents: Foy and Beatrice Banks and aunt: Louise Banks.

Sean will be greatly missed by his mother: Linda (Wilson) Sccott; father: John Banks; grandmother: Versie Jones; brother: Corey (Derrica) Banks; sister: Nikki (Willie) Carroll; special cousin: Pam Stanyard; nieces: Jamilia Wood, Jori Banks, Juelle Jones and Paisley Wood; nephews: Jonas (Brittney) Yearby, Jaylen Hosley, Jaques Banks, Jayden Carrol, Bryan Carroll, Justin Carroll, Breyden Carroll and Brunden Carroll; uncle: Larry (Linda) Banks; aunts: Beatrice Stanyard and Rose Richards; a host of special cousins, great aunts, great uncles and friends; he also leaves a very special friend: Hope Grice.
