Scottie Jeffery Starling

Mr. Scottie Jeffery Starling, age 58 of Dothan, Alabama departed this life on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Scottie Jeffrey Starling was born July 24, 1962 to Addie Mae Starling-Price and the late Lois Price, in Dothan, Alabama.  He was educated in the Dothan City School System, as well as the Job Corp.  He was a Veteran of the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his daughter: Kizmick Johnson; father: Lois Price; and his grandmother: Minnie Merle Reeves.

His life will forever be cherished by his mother: Addie Mae Starling-Price; his children: La'Tondra (Toi), Princess, Meleka, Zora, India, Keyeta, Tyangie, Scottie, Jr., and Virginia.  He is also survived by his twenty-eight grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Tina Burns and Felicia; brothers: Vincent, Kem, Darren Price, and Anthony White; sister: Veronica Brock; and a host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

"You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.  A million times we will miss you, a million times we will cry.  In our hearts you hold a place, no one else can fill.  It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God took you home.  We will meet again someday, I know in a better place.  We thank God he made you our dad while you were here on Earth.  Loved beyond words.  Missed beyond measure.  Always and forever in our hearts."
