Savalla Fitzpatrick

Ms. Savalla Fitzpatrick, age 94, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Drive Through viewing will be Friday, November 27, 2020 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11 AM at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama.

Mrs. Savalla Fitzpatrick was born on April 9, 1926, in Barbour County, Alabama, to the late Preston and Beulah Lewis.  She was the youngest of the children, whom all preceded her in death.

She married Joseph Greene Fitzpatrick on February 13, 1956 and moved to Birmingham, Alabama.  She was a loving and devoted wife until his death on March, 8, 1989.

She lived in Birmingham for many years and was a faithful member of the Metropolitan C.M.E. Church, where she served on the Usher Board and Gospel Choir.  She loved to sing and enjoyed gardening, watching old westerns, and listening to country and gospel music.

She relocated to Dothan, Alabama in 2003 and joined Burdeshaw Street Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health failed.

Mrs. Savalla Fitzpatrick departed this life and went to her eternal home on November 21, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her life: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
