Sandra Diane Doyle, a beacon of laughter and love, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2023, in her hometown of Dothan, Alabama. Born on October 2, 1956, in the same close-knit community, Sandra, affectionately known as Sandy by her loved ones, lived a life marked by her caring nature and her boundless sense of humor.
Sandy's journey through life was characterized by the joy she found in the simple pleasures and the deep connections she forged with those around her. She was a woman who filled every room with warmth and could always be counted on to offer a comforting word or a hearty chuckle when it was needed most. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by a family that adores her, including her devoted children, Destiny Tiller (Iyanna Huff, Mariah Tiller) and Derrick Tiller (Alea Tiller, Peyton Tiller, Priest Tiller), Stephanie Searles (Kamiyah Searles, Mia Searles), Rachel Tiller (Breshay Tiller, Jermarius Tiller, Skai Tiller, Emorie Tiller), and Chandra Brown. Though her daughter Elizabeth Tiller preceded her in death, Sandy's spirit lives on through her grandchildren, who she loved with every fiber of her being. Daisy Tiller, who was like a second mother to Sandy, will hold dear the special bond they shared.
Sandy's siblings, Laura, Lora, Michael, Sheila, Jonnie Mae, Sylvia, and Annie, will remember her as the sister who always brought light and laughter into their lives. Her nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a multitude of friends are left to reminisce about the countless joyful moments they spent with Sandy. Her unwavering friend to the end, Roosevelt, will miss the steadfast companionship they shared.
As we reflect on the life of Sandra Diane Doyle, we are reminded of the words of the great poet Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Sandy made everyone feel loved, valued, and happy.
