Ms. Sally Salina, age 65, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 1 PM at Daleville Christian Fellowship Church, 177 Holman Bridge Road Daleville, Alabama 36322.
Burial will be Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2 PM at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 1129 Peaceful Road Pinehurst, Georgia 31070.
The youngest of two children, Sally Lee Salinas was born on November 6, 1954 in, Tifton, Georgia, to the late Luther Houston adn Aretha Riggins Houston. She gained her wings to be reunited with her late son, Hollis Salinas, Jr., on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
Sally gave her life to Christ at an early age at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Pinehurst, Georgia. She graduated from the Vienna High School of Dooly County Georgia in 1972, after which she attended Abraham Baldwin Agriculture Community College; where she obtained an associates degree in Nutrition. Her caring, nurturing spirit led her back to school where she studied nursing.
After relocating to Enterprise, Alabama, Sally became a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Coppinville Road. In 1987, she and her family became faithful members of Daleville Christian Fellowship Worship Center until she subsequently moved to Dothan, Alabama.
Sally was a dedicated worker; she retired from Medical Center Enterprise after 18 years. She gave birth to four children and diligently kept busy raising her children and caring for family and those needing her care. She was generous and loving to everyone she met. In her leisure time, Sally enjoyed sewing and playing bingo.
Sally leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, celebrate her life and carry on her legacy: three loving daughters: Tanya (Marvin) Lindsey of Dothan, Alabama, Leila Salinas and Constance (Willie Karl) Goins-Daniels both of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister: Annette (Emory) Kendrick of Macon, Georgia; two granddaughters: Kasei Salinas and Syria Salinas both of Dothan, Alabama; her sister-in-law of love: Linda Burks of Tifton, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
