Ms. Ruby Moore of Dothan, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 1 PM at Union Hill Cemetery, 1499 Dyras Road Cottonwood, Alabama 36320.
Ruby Lee Rover-Moore was born on February 8, 1933, to her late loving parents Ruben Rover and Maldie Mae Rover, in Houston County, Alabama.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member at the Union Missionary Baptist Church in Cottonwood, Alabama. She received her education in Houston County School.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Fred Rechourse in August 21, 1950 and to this union one child was born, and her name was Doris Rechourse. After preceding her in death she later married Willie J. Moore on July 16, 1980 and to that union there were no children.
She was employed at Cottonwood High School as a lunch room supervisor. She was a loving, caring, giving beautiful person to all she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and one daughter: Doris Hampton.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, son-in-law: Willie Hampton, Sr.; four grandchildren: William (Tracy) Smith, Willie, Jr. (Wanda) Hampton, Ellis (Caroline) Hampton and Dorothy Hampton; eight great grands: Mellissa Hampton, Lisa (Dewayne) Granger, Auston Hampton, Yasmine Hampton, Josiah Reeves, Fredrick Reeves, Jr., Mario Hampton, and LaDestiny Hampton; nine great-great grands; and Dean Scott, whom she loved and considered as her own son; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins which included the Coachman family and other relatives and friends.
