Ms. Rosie Mae McNealy of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, April 11,2022 at the age of 89.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4-6 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church; 12 Martin Luther King Drive, Headland, Alabama 36345 with burial immediately following at Center Baptist Church Cemetery; 4344 State Highway 173, Newville, Alabama 36353 under the direction of the caring staff of Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary "Because We Care".

Rosie Mae McNealy was born in Henry County, Alabama to the late Hezzie and Rena Walker on April 21, 1932. Rosie, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022; she was 89.
Rosie retired from what is now Golden Oil Mill, where she always believed in hard work and determination. In 1955, Rosie married the late J.C. McNealy and from their beloved union, Rosie conceived five beautiful children. Rosie was a member of the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and served as a member until her glorious transition.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, two children: Jerry and Marie McNealy; two sisters: Jenny Reddick and Mavis “Money” Walker; three brothers: Robert “Bob” Walker, Alvin “A.D.” Walker Otis ”Red” Walker, one granddaughter: Lakesha McNealy Knight; one nephew: Robert “Doc” Walker and one dear and special friend: Robert “Rob” Lee Norton.
She leaves to cherish her motherly and loving memories, two sons: Earnest and Billy (Mari) McNealy; one daughter: Brenda Lee McNealy; three sisters: Ozie (Albert) Holloway of Dothan, Alabama, Jessie (M.C.) Lee of Dothan, Alabama and Joyce (Willie Floyd) King of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother: John (Mary) Walker of Buffalo, New York; grandkids: LaWanda Walker, Lashay (Vernon) Snell, Valerie Walker, LaToya Denise McNealy, Rashawn McNealy, Myleesia McNealy, Khristian McNealy, Kelandra McNealy, Tytrez McNealy and Jaelen McNealy; great-grandkids: Taran Rahjon McNealy, Shanyah Fluellen, Tavarion “TJ” Knight, Valisiana Snell, Jeremiah McNealy, Elijah McNealy, Taliah Sincere Knight, Cayden D. Snell, Leilani McNealy and Kaycen Chappell; three special nephews: James Earl Walker, Michael Lee and Stenet Gordan; one special niece: Betty Baxter; one special god-son: Joe Reynolds; two special sisters-in-law: Geraldine “Byrd” Thomas and Lucy Gordan and brother-in-law: Nathaniel McNealy, including a host of many nephews, nieces, cousins, family and acquaintances.
