Ronald Craddock

Mr. Ronald Craddock, age 70, of Augusta, Georgia; formerly an Abbeville, Alabama resident, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 1 PM at Georgette L. Scott Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Burial will immediately follow the service at New Mt. Zion Cemetery, 336 Rock Hill Circle Abbeville, Alabama 36310.

Ronald Craddock was born on August 17, 1951 to the late Jannie Cochran and O.J. Craddock.

He was raised in Abbeville, Alabama by his loving mother Willie Dean Craddock, along with his sister Jessie Rean Williams and his late twin brother Donald Craddock.  He received his formal education from the Henry County Training School.  He later relocated to Newark, New Jersey, where he began his industrial career of over 53 years until retiring on February 26, 2021.

Ronald had a quiet, laid back and honest personality.  He would do anything for his family.  He was loved by many.  He had a heart of gold and was a devoted father, brother and friend.  Ronald loved the Lord and always enjoyed being surrounded by family and his Mason Brothers of Pyramid Lodge #60.

Ronald was called home to be with the Lord on August 18, 2021 at Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

He leaves behind a loving daughter: Dilila Craddock of Augusta, Georgia; two loving stepchildren: Juanita and Dennis of Newark, New Jersey; three loving grandchildren: Daeshawn, Sabree, and Kayla, along with several step-grandchildren; mother: Willie Dean Craddock; sister: Jessie Rean Williams; sister-in-law: Melissa Craddock and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
