Rickey Dickens, Jr.

Mr. Rickey Dickens, Jr., age 29, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 AM at Georgette L. Scott Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Rickey Dickens, Jr. was born September 13, 1992, to the late Rickey Dickens, Sr. and Cynthia Jackson Dickens, in Dothan, Alabama.  Educated within the Dothan City School System, Rickey's love for people radiated light in whatever space or to whom he was around.  

On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, God called him home, "servant well done."

He was preceded in death by his father: Rickey Dickens, Sr., his grandparents: Jerome Jackson and Elnora Jackson; Hubby Dickens, Sr. and Bernice Dickens; aunt: Brenda Shaperd and uncle: Hubby Dickens, Jr.

Precious memories will remain with his mother: Cynthia D. Dickens; siblings: LaZarus (Shela) Jackson, Makil (Tisha) Jackson, Shacirra Jackson, and Kisha Poke.

Uncles: Johnny (Carmencita) Hicks, Eric T. Jackson, Robert Dickens, Larry Dickens, Mark Dickens, Craig Dickens, Bobby Dickens, and Billy Dickens.

Aunts: Loretta F. (Dennis) Jackson and Angelica Seymore.

Nieces and Nephews: Zaria, Shanagia, Tylia, TyShun, MaKayle, Malick, Zamaria, and MaKil, Jr.

Great niece and nephew: Mason, Madison, and David.  

Godson: Princeton Carroll and special friends: Amarra Kirkendoll and Erica Simpson.

And a host of other relatives and friends.
