Reverend James Howard Cody

Reverend James Howard Cody was born on June 5, 1930 to the late Gabrel Cody and Ida Rover Cody in Cottonwood, Alabama.

James Howard Cody  joined the church at an early age and attended the public school of Cottonwood, Alabama.

James Howard Cody joined the Army and served during the Korea War from November 14, 1952 to September 18, 1954; he received six different medals.

On January 16, 2023, Reverend James Howard Cody departed this life at Southeast Health Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Reverend James Howard Cody leaves to cherish his loving memories by his wife: Catherine Russ Cody of Quincy, Florida; children: Ta’Niya Cody, Heather, Temeka, Dannie Whaley, Joseph Cody of Cottonwood, Alabama, Stephanie Cage of Texas; grandchildren: JaQurious, Trinity, LeShala, De’Cody, Carlise, Angle, Nick, Blame and Linda Cage of Texas; favorite nephew: Brock Cody; a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
