Mr. Randolph Flournoy, age 70, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020.
A private graveside, for immediately family only, will be held on Saturday.
Celebration of life for Mr. Randolph Flournoy will be announced at a later date.
Randolph Scott "Randy" Flournoy was born to Sarah Ruth Price and Willie J. Flournoy on December 2, 1949, in Dale County. He attended Carver High School in Dothan, Alabama. He proudly served in the US Army, with two tours in the Vietnam War.
He joined First Missionary Baptist Church at a very early age, where he served on the usher board. Randy was a member of Masonic Lodge in Tacoma, Washington. He enjoyed playing golf and dominos with friends. He had great love for Alabama football, and was a die hard fan.
On Thursday, March 26, 2020, in Dothan, Alabama, the Lord closed Randy's eyes, quieted his voice, and called him home. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted mother: Sarah Ruth Price; father: Willie J. Flournoy and brother: Willie James Flournoy.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter: Brenda Ridgeway; one son-in-law: Robert Ridgeway; two granddaughters: Chrisalyn Ridgeway and Tyla Ridgeway all of Statesboro, Georgia; one brother: Ronnie Flournoy of Savannah, Georgia; one sister: Joann Polite (Franklin) of Savannah, Georgia; three nieces, four nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
