Rachel Patrice Barnes

Mrs. Rachel Barnes, age 30, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rachel Patrice Barnes was born, in Dothan, Alabama, on February 6, 1991 to Patricia Barnes and Charles Butler.  She attended school at Houston County High in Columbia, Alabama.  On December 5, 2016, she married O'Shawn Bryant.

Rachel was a former employee of Walmart for many years.  She loved her mother and her only daughter; whom she spent most of her time with.  She also enjoyed the company of her nieces and nephews and loved making others laugh through social media videos.

Rachel passed away on August 17, 2021 in Dothan, Alabama.

Rachel is survived by her husband: O'Shawn Bryant; her daughter, whom she loved dearly: Kai-Lan Barnes; her parents: Patricia Barnes and Charles Butler of Dothan, Alabama; brothers: Chazz (Iketteie) Barnes of Kinsey, Alabama and Charles Skipper of Dothan, Alabama; sisters: Trimma Skipper of Dothan, Alabama and Apple Jackson of Webb, Alabama; a praying grandmother: Rachel T. Barnes and a host of nieces and nephew, whom she loved and enjoyed spending time with.  She also has many supportive aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
