Mr. Otis “Bubba” Lee, Jr., was born on October 31, 1947 to Oscar Lee, Sr., and Ludie B. Patterson Lee.
He was preceded by his parents; his wife, Alberta Kincey Lee; two brothers: James Lee and Willie Lee; four sisters: Lanette Martin, Yvonne Reynolds, Brenda Lee and Ruby Thomas; his father-in-law: Milguster Kincey and his mother-in-law: Jinnie Kincey.
He departed his life on June 6, 2025 in Dothan, Alabama at his home after years of illness that he endured like a good solider.
Otis was a Veteran of the United States Army and retired from Fort Rucker Fire Department, Fort Rucker, Alabama; He served in the United States Army from 1967-1969, with the 198th Light Infantry Brigade Chu Lai Vietnam, which he received the Purple Heart for his outstanding service. He was chairman of the Deacon Board at Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church and the overseer of the church cemetery. He joined Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his daughters, Linda Kincey and Diane Reynolds; two granddaughters, Shankel Kincey and Clarisa Reynolds; a grandson, Raymone Thomas; two great grandchildren: Shanteria Kincey and Jabre Barber; great-great grandchildren: DeWayne Jr., and DaMoni; a goddaughter: Tosha Faulk; sisters: Lottie Benson of Columbia, Alabama, Annie Lee of Headland, Alabama and Betty Lee of Newville, Alabama; a brother: Oscar Lee, Jr., of Dothan, Alabama; sisters-in-law: Sue (Julius) Butler and Rosa Lee; a special niece and nephew: Eric (Special) Lee; a very special friend/caretaker: Maxine Hinton; other sister: Deborah Spann and brother, James Spann of Fort Gaines, Georgia; three aunts: Stella Skipper, Susie Dean Patterson and Mitt Simpson; a uncle, Robert Patterson; a host of other relatives, cousins and friends.
