Mr. Oliver Youngblood, age 69, of Union Springs, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11 AM at Elizabeth Cemetery, 312 Highway 239 Union Springs, Alabama 36089.
Oliver Youngblood was born on November 6, 1950 in Union Springs, Alabama to the late Raymond and Addie Ruth Youngblood.
He accepted Christ at an early age, where he joined Elizabeth Baptist Missionary Church.
He is a graduate of Bullock County Technical High School, Class of 1969.
Oliver served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteren with a Bronze Star.
Oliver departed this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Ellis and Vernon Youngblood and two sisters: Vernice Tarver and Diane Franklin.
He leaves to cherish his memories, five children: Marcellina (James) Woods of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, Oliver Youngblood of LaGrange, Georgia, LaJasmine (Devonte) Jones of Duluth, Georgia, Ron Robinson of Nashville, Tennessee and Jeanette (Develle) Moore of Kankee, Illinois; five brothers: Omer (Jessie), Webster (Annie Lois), Raymond, Jr., Michael Youngblood all of Union Springs, Alabama and Lysander Thorton of Montgomery, Alabama; five sisters: Zenard (Abselon) Fisher of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Abbie Thornton of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ruby Clyde (Kennon), Tuck Alice (Henry) Williams and Lori Thornton all of Montgomery, Alabama; eight grandchildren; one aunt: Eula Glaze of Birmingham, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
