Nekole Naatrel Brooks Hayes, 40, of Hinesville, Georgia, passed away on December 17, 2023 surrounded by her family, after a brief illness.
Nekole was born August 13, 1983 to Deacon Odell Brooks, Sr. and Carrie Brooks in Heidelberg, Germany.
She graduated from Carroll High School in Ozark, Alabama. She received her Cosmetology degree from Wallace Community College and recently received her Accounting Degree with honors from Savannah Technical College in Hinesville, Georgia and became a member of the National Technical College Honor Society. Though she was very accomplished, her most valued Degree was in motherhood and taking care of her beloved Family.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband and the various activities of her children. She also loved good music, singing, and Road Trips with family. Nekole was always excited about the holidays, she loved shopping for the finer things, but could easily slide over to the clearance rack! She had a passion for watching YouTube videos of hair shows, and frequently tried different recipes she found interesting.
Nekole gave her life to Christ at a young age and spent most of her life as a member of Christian Faith Fellowship Temple, Ozark, Alabama. She served her latter years as a faithful member of New Day Community Church, Walthourville, Georgia singing on the worship team, assisting in administration, and serving as a liaison with our public elementary school. Nekole loved God’s people and was always willing to be a blessing to others.
Nekole is survived by her loving husband David K. Hayes, a daughter Nevaeh Hayes, a son David Hayes, Jr., father Odell Brooks, mother Carrie Brooks, four sisters LaShia Davis, Shmeka (Jerome) Cohen, Shawnnta (Algernon) Dumas, Octavia (Channing) Starks of Ozark, AL, and one brother Odell (Tierra) Brooks III of San Antonio, TX, Mother-in-Law Earline Gaynor, Father-in-Law Andrew Hayes, Sr. six Brother/Sister in laws.
