Mr. Nathan Singletary, age 44, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020; visitation will be held two hour prior the service on Saturday, July 11, 2020 2:00 PM at the Georgette L. Scott Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama.

Nathan L. (Nate Dawg) Singletary was born September 6, 1975 to Nathan and Brenda Singletary in Tampa, Florida.
 

Nate was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 5, 2020, surrounded by his mother and siblings.
 

He was preceded in death by his father: Nathan Singletary, Sr.; his paternal grandparents: Willie and Fannie Lou Singletary of Tampa, Florida; his maternal grandparents: John and Mary Dell Thomas of Midland City, Alabama.
 

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Brenda Singletary; his siblings: Sharon Johnson, Nadine Singletary and Nathan (Angela) Singletary, Jr and Derwin Singletary of Tampa, Florida, Christopher (Laura) Singletary of Naples, Italy, Beverly (Lindsey) Hall of Eufaula, Alabama, Sonja Singletary, Maya (Rabon) Walker and Tavares (Virginia Nguyen) Singletary of Dothan, Alabama; nieces and nephews that he loved and adored: Kayla Singletary (Austin & Ashton), Raeven Whatley (SJ), Terrica, Tavares and Tristian Singletary of Midland City, Alabama, Iijah McKissick, Samaj and Kyson Head, Kynnedy and Kenyon Minor, Tavareya and Kylila Singletary, Raonna Walker, Kendrick and Layla Singletary of Naples, Italy, Allie and Vera Singletary of Dothan, Alabama; god mother (aunt): Gloria Stalling of Pinckard, Alabama; special; aunt: Lavelle Renaye Shaw of Apopka, Florida; uncles and aunts: Lizzie Wright, Carrie Christmas of Dothan, Alabama, Mary Thompson of Napier Fields, Marie Thomas of Midland City, Alabama, Pinese (Roy) Nobles of Tampa, Florida, Billy (Thelma) Thomas of Cowarts, Alabama, Levie (Lou Jean) Thomas of Headland, Alabama, Marvin (Carol) Singletary of Tampa, Florida and Matthew Thomas of Dothan, Alabama; and a host of relatives and friends who will also cherish his infectious smile and energy.
