Nadine Daniels, a beacon of love and spirited joy, departed from this life on May 3, 2024, at the age of 78, in Dothan, Alabama, due to natural causes. Born on September 24, 1945, in Headland, Alabama, she was the cherished daughter of Clarence Daniels and Flora Gartmond, both of whom predeceased her. Nadine's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and the deep bonds of family and friendship she nurtured throughout her years.
From her youth, Nadine was a devoted servant of God, dedicating her life to Christ early on. She was an active and longtime member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama, where her presence was a source of inspiration and comfort to all who knew her. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her actions and her constant encouragement of others to embrace their spiritual journey with open hearts.
Nadine's passion for knowledge and self-improvement led her to pursue education with zeal. After graduating from Carver High School in 1963, she furthered her education at Riley Business College in Dothan, Alabama, where she earned her associate degree. This foundation served her well in her professional endeavors and in her personal pursuit of lifelong learning.
Nadine's love for singing and reading was matched by her love for her family and friends, to whom she was immeasurably devoted.
Her sister, Elizabeth (Daniels) Scruggs, preceded her in death, leaving a legacy of cherished memories. Nadine's warmth and guidance will be deeply missed by her surviving sister, Linda Gail Daniels of Atlanta, Georgia. Her life's narrative will continue to be told through her beloved nephews, Myron Scruggs and Roland Daniels, and her niece, Anyon Scruggs. A host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends also remain to honor her memory.
