Michael James Walker

Michael was born to Susie Walker and James Raybon on December 4, 1960 in Bullock County, Alabama. 

Michael was educated in the public school system of Bullock County.  He was a member of Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church and participated on various programs while a member.  He later moved to Tuskegee, Alabama and remained there until his demised (Saturday, May 20, 2023).

Michael was preceded in death by his son Marquez (Lil Billy) Walker, brothers Tony James Raybon Walker and James Rodney Raybon. 

Michael leaves to cherish his fond memories:  a devoted wife, Diane Howard Walker, Tuskegee, Alabama; son, Michael (Raven) Walker, Tuskegee, Alabama; daughter, Martrivias (Michael) Walker, Opelika, Alabama; mother, Susie Walker Raybon, Atlanta, Georgia; father, James Raybon, Union Springs, Alabama; 10 grandchildren, Shaliyah, Jamiyah, Jay Vontae, Myiasiah, Carianna, Chase, Aniyah, Cayden, Zakariah, Harmonie and Za’Keylah. nine siblings:  Kenneth (Margaret) Bentford; Lolita Harris, Montgomery, Alabama; Jeffrey (Erica) Raybon Auburn, Alabama; Veronica (Vince) Tarver, Midway, Alabama; Heather (Lakeith) Streeter, Montgomery, Alabama, Rosalind Shell, Kristie Stanley, all of Union Springs, Alabama;  Christopher Cope, Gadsden, Alabama; and Brandon (April) Raybon, California.  Four aunts:  Gloria Foster; Floria (Tommy) McMullen, all of Union Springs, Alabama; Emily Thompson and Gwendolyn (J.C.) Phillips, Huntsville, Alabama;  Two uncles:  Lenell  Youngblood, Miami, Florida and Robert Walker, Union Springs, Alabama.  Two great-aunts:  Mary A. Raybon, Union Springs, Alabama; and Barbara Dorsey, Atlanta, Georgia.  Seven great-uncles:  Curtis (Leonca) Rayborn, Larry (Audrey) Raybon, all of Tuskegee, Alabama; Eddie (Madaline) Raybon, Detroit, Michigan; Roosevelt Raybon, Atlanta, Georgia, Jerald (Lisa) Raybon and Dennis Raybon, all of Union Springs, Alabama; Marvin (Edna) Raybon, Valdosta, Georgia; Robert Raybon, Houston, Texas; and Kennedy Raybon, Eufaula, Alabama.  A loving and devoted mother and father in law, Hattie (Ernest) Wright, Tuskegee, Alabama; two brother in law; Lennior (Martha) Howard, James (Alyssa) Howard, Tuskegee, Alabama; two sister in law; Juanita Howard, Bernice (Avery) Howard, Tuskegee, Alabama. A host of cousins, nephews and nieces.
