Mattie McClain

Ms. Mattie Lou McClain of Dothan, Alabama departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the age of 76.

Mrs. Mattie McClain was born in Coffee County to Oscar Couch and Bonnie Harper.

             Mattie return to Alabama in the early 70’s along with her brother, Bobby Couch (Betty) to attend to their aging parents.

Mattie became active member of New Bethel Church of God in Christ for many years. With the death of her husband Willie C. McClain, Mattie moved to Dothan with her daughter, Teresa Brannon (Tim). Here became a member of Donalsonville Church of Christ.

Mattie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert and husband, Willie C. McClain.

Mrs. McClain leaves to grieve two daughters: Teresa (Timothy) and Patricia (Jerrold); eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Mrs. McClain has a huge extended famiy of nephews, nieces, cousins, sisters-in-law that are left to grieve.

Mrs. McClain was full of love, laughter and had a heart of gold. She will be missed by all.
