Marcus Eugene Andrews

“Look here mane,” Marcus Eugene Andrews, 50, of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed away on December 9, 2023. 

Born on August 26, 1973, in Geneva, Alabama, Marcus was the beloved husband of Wilma Andrews and a loving father to Kaylynn Ranaldson (Corin), Qua’Jun Andrews, Indyia Rachel (Kevin), and Ivianna Andrews. 

He was also a cherished grandfather to Adylynn Andrews Harper Andrews, and stepfather to Brock Patterson, Easu Patterson III, and Michael Patterson.  Marcus was the son of Wanda Fryer (Norman) and Arthur Gene Andrews (Carolyn), and a dear brother to Don C. Andrews (Deanna) and Jason Andrews (April).  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eloise Campbell.

Marcus attended Northview High School and dedicated an incredible ten years of his life to Estes Express.  Joining the esteemed company in 2013, Marcus quickly became an integral part of the team. Known for his unwavering commitment to excellence and exceptional driving skills, he was entrusted with transporting goods across countless miles, ensuring timely deliveries and utmost customer satisfaction.  Marcus consistently demonstrated a remarkable work ethic, often going above and beyond the call of duty to meet tight deadlines.  His expertise in handling various types of cargo, coupled with his impeccable safety record, earned him the respect and admiration of his supervisors and peers.  His steadfast dedication and warm, friendly demeanor made him a cherished member of the Estes Express family.

Marcus worshipped at the Greater New Kingdom, 1005 E. Shelby Dr., Memphis, TN 38116.

A ceremony to honor and celebrate Marcus's life will be held at County Line Missionary Baptist Church, 598 County Line Dr, Slocomb, AL 36375.
