Majic Dewayne Collins, Jr.

Mr. Majic Collins, Jr., age 18, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. 

Drive through visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven.

Majic Dewayne Collins, Jr. was born October 28, 2001 to Cecilia Newby and Majic Collins, Sr.

He was educated in the Dothan City School System, where he would have graduated from Northview High School with the class of 2021.

He loved fishing, playing football, fixing electronics, hanging out with his childhood friend: Shukyle Ni'Colee, and making YouTube videos; but most of all, he loved playing Fortnite.

Majic started a group called NTS, which stood for Nothing to Something.  NTS represented a group of kids who have nothing, but going to school to be SOMETHING! NTS included his good friends: Trayson, Tya, Demetris, Pop Pop, Jordan, Snipe, Marlion and Sykeem.

Majic leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother and father: Cecilia (Jarvis) Newby of Dothan, Alabama and Majic Collins, Sr. of Enterprise, Alabama; siblings: Faheem Elamin, Ta'Tyana Newby, Jordan Collins, and Isaiha Collins; grandparents: Melissa (Willie) Newton of Pansey, Alabama, Billy Ray (Hope) Lewis of Cottonwood, Alabama, Billie Joe (Jermaine) Newby of Dothan, Alabama and David Williams; uncles: Spencer Collins, David (Sabrina) Newby, Anthony Newby, Kenneth (LaKeisha) Newby and Jeffory (Ta'Shika) all of Dothan, Alabama; aunts: Melissa (Eddie) Perry, Monique (Kordreo) Newby and Tambria Woods all of Dothan, Alabama; a very special stepmother: Lo'Toya Bethea; very special friends: Ariel Stokes and Mireacle Severson; very special cousins: Jameshia Drayton, Alyssa Collins, Melyssa Collins, Angel Collins, JaKolby Collins and Jaylin Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
