Maggie Lyles Life and Times

Maggie Sophia Minnifield Lyles was born to the late Robert Lee Minnifield and Millie Ruth Jones on February 15, 1969 in Houston, County. She united and holy matrimony to keep Daniel Lyles on December 8, 1997.

She attended public Schools in Headland, Alabama and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. The family later moved to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She attended school there and later joined the Keystone Job corps earning a degree in Masonry. Later in life the family moved back to Alabama and she began work with the Presbyterian Church Daycare in Dothan and later opened her own Sandwich Shop. She also worked for several years with the Midland City Police Department as a Dispatcher. Maggie joined Wings of Deliverance Community Church where she loved working in the Youth Department. She was a homemaker and community wide advocate for Midland City youth.  

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Marvin and Maggie Jones and Mr. & Mrs. Randle & Rosie Lee Hollis Minniefield; her father: Mr. Robert Lee Minnifield and step-mother: Mrs. Cynthia Minnifield.

She leaves to cherish her memories loving husband of 21 yrs: Keith Daniel Lyles of Midland City, AL; one daughter: Nataja Deshawn Lyles of Dothan, AL; one son: Daniel Demarcus Lyles of Midland City, AL; two brothers: Mark (Monica) Warren of Headland, AL and Marcus (Tonya) Minniefield of Dothan, AL; six sisters: Phyllis Minniefield of Midland City, AL, Beverly (Courtney) Tate of Dothan, AL, Keisha Minnifield of Charlotte, N.C., Cpl. Ryan Minnifield of Boyton, FL, Robin Minnifield (Hanes) Najac of Orlando, FL, Abigail Minnifield of Uniondale, NY. and Jonnie Gutzmore of Dothan, AL; her mother: Millie Ruth Minnifield of Dothan, AL; brother-in-laws: David Lyles, Phyllip Lyles, Johnny Lyles and Randy (Wendy) Lyles of New York; uncles & aunts:  Minister Amos (Dee) Minniefield of Hollis, NY; James A. (Lisa) Jones of Blackwood, NJ, JoAnn Grimsley of Midland City, AL, Sara Waldrop of Jasper, AL, Darlene Minniefield of Florence, AL, Martha Lawson of Anniston, AL, Linda Jones Williams of Harrisburg, Penn, Janice Parmer of Atlanta GA, Jasper (Helen) Helms, John Henry (Barbara) Helms, Billy Davis Helms, Fannie Thomas, Ruby Helms, Frances McCree, Rose Helms, and Annie (Rev.
