Louise Martin

Mrs. Louise Martin, age 79, of Union Springs, Alabama passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 313 N Prairie Street, Union Springs, Alabama 36089

Graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 1 PM at Town Creek Cemetery in Union Springs, Alabama.

On September 21, 1940, Louise Wheeler Martin, known to her family and friends as "Bubba", was born to the late Louise Wheeler and Jake Wheeler.  She was the fourteenth child of her sixteen siblings.

Louise was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie James Martin.  At an early age, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  She was baptized at Beulah Baptist Church in Union Springs, Alabama; where she served faithfully.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, siblings and grandson: Qu'Darrius Oliver.

God called his soldier home to live in His Kingdom for eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2020.  

She leaves to cherish her memory, four devoted children: Jackie Huffman of Lithonia, Georgia, Tommy Lee Wheeler of Albany, New York, Kenny Wheeler of Rochester, New York and Pedehel Martin of Auburn, Alabama; one sister: Lucille Austin; stepchildren: Mary Ann Martin, Artis Martin, Daisy Martin and Carolyn Martin; a special granddaughter, whom she reared as her own: Keela Wheeler; grandchildren: Kennetra, Robert, Jr., Carmala, Farrah, Diarra, Tommy, Jr., Ashanti, Corey, Kenneth, Kamille and Jordan; and a host of cousins and friends.
