Lisa Ann Worthy was born on June 8, 1970 to the late Eddie Charles Worthy and Vernella Lee Lemons.
Lisa was a lifelong resident of Dothan, Alabama. She was a graduate of Northview High School, class of 1989. Lisa was very loving, caring and loved all her family dearly. Lisa lifted everyone’s spirit with her contagious laugh. Lisa was definitely the family comforter.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father: Eddie Charles Worthy; maternal grandmother: Mary Emma Lemons; paternal grandmother: Lillie Mae Brown; great aunt: Nellie Traylor; niece: Jaici C. Hicks; uncle: Elijah Underwood; cousin: Shermaine Jackson.
Lisa departed this earthly realm on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
Lisa memories will be deeply remembered by her beautiful daughter: Misshellic (Terez) Cobb of Dothan, Alabama; her two grandchildren: Caiden and Kaitlyn Buggs; her loving mother and step father: Vernella (Walter) Trammell; her four beautiful sisters: Diana Worthy, Vanessa (Kevin) Range, Sharon (Charles) Hicks, Gabrielle Whaley. Lisa had a closeness with all her nieces and nephews: Jasmine Worthy, Paris Bonds, Lexus Jackson, Jaylyn Hicks, Liza Denton, Kahavajeh and Vakyus Range. She had a very special place in her heart for Keimon and Nasir Whaley and Keimonei Ohara and Ke’ziyah Whaley. She will also be remembered by her aunts and uncles: Willie, Booker T and Michael Lemons and Bobby Underwood; aunts: Mary Blandenberg and Annie White and Helen Worthy; special cousins: Martha Whittle, Rose Wilson, Teresa and Eugene Daniels, Brittney Macon, Ulysses (Pretiece) Worthy; longtime best friend: Yolanda Curry-Respress and Tina; her very special dear friend: Lee Branch better know as “daddy”; five step brothers: Terrell, Brandon, Cornelieus Trammell of Eufaula, Alabama and Andre Richardson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
