Mrs. Linda Jackson, age 69, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Friday, June 18, 2021.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2 PM at Georgette L. Scott Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue Dothan, Alabama 36303.
Burial will immediately follow the service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
Linda Louise Oliver Jackson was born on October 28, 1951 to the late Angus Oliver and the late Enda King Oliver in Dothan Alabama.
She loved to sing and loved quartet. When she was younger she sung with the Holy Five of Dothan and later became to sang with the New Gospel Clouds until she became ill.
She is preceded in death by her parents Angus and Enda Oliver; her husband: Roy Lee Jackson; her grandmother: Elizabeth Underwood; one sister: Sue Ford and one brother: Napoleon Oliver.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons: Kwame Jackson of Blakely Georgia, Steven Oliver of Dothan, Alabama and Kenyatta Davis of Montgomery Alabama; three daughter's: Latoya Jackson of Dothan Alabama, Ruby Potter of Montgomery Alabama, and Brandy (Brad) Bryant of Locust Grove, Georgia; two brothers: Eddie and Angus Lamar Oliver; five sisters: Elsie Wimes, Ludie (Sam) Jackson, Evelyn Harris, Deloris Baxter, and Connie Oliver all of Dothan, Alabama; one brother-in-law: Frank Guns of Norfolk Virginia; one sister-in-law: Ruby Bell of Bartow, Florida; twenty-seven grandchildren; ten great grands; four great-great grand children; three very special friends: Linda Thornton, Paige Hatchcock, and Dr. Mary Lynn Wells; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
