Mrs. Linda Jean Curry was born on January 18, 1955, to Levi Brown and Jeanette White Brown in Dothan, Alabama.
Linda Curry was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was a people person and loved to help others.
She was a dedicated worker for twenty plus years at Wesley Manor Nursing Home, where she went above and beyond for the residents.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruby Porter.
On June 7th, 2025, she was called home to be with the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Dewayne Chambers of Dothan, Alabama, Cecil (Miriam) Chambers of Dothan, Alabama and Dawanna (Juicy) Howell of Atlanta, Georgia and Kevin Corbitt of Dothan, Alabama.
Her legacy continues to flourish through her adoring five grandchildren: Qu'suna Chambers, Jamekia Chambers, DaShun Chambers, Christopher Taylor, and Cierra Chambers; five great grandchildren: Kiyan Freeman, Indya Wilson-Chambers, Kensley Corbitt, Amelia Taylor, Kendrick Corbitt; she is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, cousins and friends.
