Laura Ann Stanley

Mrs. Laura Stanley, age 57, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, October 25, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1 PM at Georgette L. Scott Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Laura Ann Stanley was born on August 25, 1964 to the late Mamie Lee and Wilbert Stanley.

She grew up in Webb, Alabama.  She was educated at Houston County High School.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, watching t.v. and taking car rides.

She departed this life's journey on Monday, October 25, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her father: Wilbert Stanley; mother: Mamie Lee Stanley; son: Kendall Stanley; sisters: Ruby Hunter and Lisa Stanley; sisters-in-law: Martice McSwain and Barbara Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband: James Duncan; her loving daughter: Terica Stanley; her loving sons: Michael Stanley and Xavier (Jennifer H.) Stanley; four precious grand divas: Kenswayla Pearson, Neyoshia Pearson, MaNiyah Stanley and Hadley Fitzgerald; sisters: Alberta King, Pamela Stanley, Janice Whatley, Patricia Mitchell and Kathy Robinson; brothers: Wilbert (Cassandra) Stanley, Jr., James McSwain, Bobby Stanley, Jr., Ricky (Meredith) Stanley, Fred Robinson, Kenneth Robinson and Michael Robinson; special niece: Lawanda (Gee) Stanley; special nephew: Tylarreon Stanley; special children: Tavonnie McNealy, Sakia Corbitt, Brad and Brandon Stanyard, Derez Dawson, Jermey Higgins and the Hill Boys; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
