Kenneth Bernard Mandrell McClendon

Kenneth Bernard Mandrell McClendon was known for his kind heart and loving soul — a great father, devoted son, brother, and companion. He loved his family and friends deeply, and nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with his children, girlfriend, and the people he held close.

In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, swimming, music, and playing basketball, and on weekends he loved grilling out with family and friends. He was happiest outdoors, creating memories with the people he loved the most.

A phenomenal man who drove 18-wheelers for a living, Kenneth touched so many lives and was loved by so many. He was special because of the way he treated others — a loving, dependable, stand-up man who was intelligent and funny, and always willing to help anyone in need. His smile, his laughter, and his kind heart touched countless lives, and his memory will live on through all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Mandrell McClendon.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories with his two beautiful children - Kyree Bernard McClendon and Kamora Michelle McClendon, along with his significant other, Alyssa Michelle Collins.

He is survived by his mother - Stephanie Lee Dortch; his stepfather, Travis Mantell Dortch; and his grandparents, Elaine Bryant, Sara McClendon, and Bernard McClendon. He also leaves his siblings: Tiara Fields, Brikayla McClendon, Justin McClendon, Jaquavious McClendon, Diamond Anderson, Kadajah Screws, Travis Screws, and Fantasia Screws; his very special friends: Alan Fields, Jerva Culver, Shamir Miller, Cedric Gilbert, Antwan McCray, and Gabe Lewis.
