Kenneth Earl Finn, affectionately known by many as “Flash” and “Spote,” passed away on June 6, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 58. Born on March 12, 1967, in Akron, Ohio, Kenneth lived a full and memorable life marked by his resourcefulness, his strength, and his deep love for his family.
Kenneth was a true jack of all trades—gifted with his hands and able to fix just about anything. Whether it was mechanical, electrical, or something in between, there was little he couldn’t do. His natural talent and hardworking spirit led him through many roles, with his most recent position held at Apex.
He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Edwards; his brothers Willie Floyd Finn and Sara Mathis of Dothan, Christopher Robinson of Dothan, and Antonio Robinson of Dothan and his sisters Geraldine Potter of Dothan, Sharon (Ellis) Kelly of Montgomery, Al Keisha Robinson of Bakersville, Ca and Major Cynthia (Carlton) Vinson of Crestview, Fl. Kenneth was also a devoted father to his two daughters, Selina and Sherita Finn and four grandchildren who brought him pride and joy throughout his life. In addition, he is survived by his Uncles, Aunts, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Foy Finn, and his beloved son, Kenneth Earl Finn Jr.
Kenneth’s memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love he shared with all who knew him. He will be remembered for his resilience, his warm heart, and his unmatched ability to make things work—no matter the challenge.
