We come together today to celebrate the life of Mr. Kelly Will Reynolds, affectionately known as Kelly, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on August 14, 1959, in Ashford, Alabama, Kelly's journey through life was marked by his unwavering kindness, a gentle spirit, and a deep love for his family and friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mr. Robert Lee Reynolds and Ruby Mae Reynolds, his brother James Lee Reynolds, and his three sisters, Ruby Nell Kirkland, Lu-retha Reynolds, and Linda Moore. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his beloved daughters, Quanisha Reynolds of Ashford, Alabama, LaToya Reynolds and Kelly Nicole Reynolds, both of Washington, DC. His legacy continues through his three grandchildren, Daman, Nathan, and August Reynolds, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Kelly's siblings, Bobby Reynolds and his wife Sylvia of Donalsonville, Georgia, Joe Reynolds and his wife Dora of Dothan, Alabama, Laura Reynolds Mosley of Kinsey, Alabama, Robert Reynolds and his wife Judy of Ashford, Alabama, and Bobby Moore of Cottonwood, Alabama, and Mary Morris of Cottonwood, Alabama; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends will remember him as a loving and friendly brother who always had a gentle word for everyone.
Kelly served his country with honor and pride as a member of the United States Navy. His time in the service instilled in him a sense of duty and respect that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, Kelly took to the roads as an independent truck driver, a career that suited his independent spirit and love for travel, until he retired. His work ethic and commitment to his profession were admired by all who knew him.
Those who knew Kelly would describe him as loving, friendly, and gentle. These words not only capture the essence of who he was but also the impact he had on the lives of those around him. His warm smile and generous heart made him a beloved figure in his community, and his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those he has left behind.
As we say goodbye to Kelly Will Reynolds, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through the many lives he touched. His memory will be a guiding light for his family, a reminder of the love and warmth he brought into this world.
