Johneice Elizabeth (Thomas) Riddlesprigger

Friday, November 28, 2024, Johneice Riddlesprigger heard the call to leave her earthly home. She was 62 years old.  Johneice was born to the late Ms. Johneise Luckett and Mr. Ruben Riddlesprigger, JR on January 16, 1962, in Alton, IL. She spent her early years in Alton and moved as a preteen to Alabama with her mother. She spent most of her adult life in Alabama. 

Johneice was affectionately known as Bucky. She lived her life vivaciously by her own rules. What you see is what you get regardless of the circumstance. She stood firm in her belief. That was a testimony of her truth, love, and determination. She never changed. She was the life of every party and there was never a dull moment. Bucky will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Bucky was proceeded in death by: Mrs. Johneise Luckett Walker (mother), Mr. Ruben Riddlesprigger, JR. (father), Mr. Willie Earl Walker (stepfather), Mrs. Brenda Riddlesprigger Smith (sister), Ruben Riddlesprigger III (brother), and her son, Charles (Thugger) Russaw.
 

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children: Phillip Riddlesprigger of Montgomery, AL, Crystal Mugato of Dothan, AL, Shannon (Jayda) Carroll of Dothan, AL, Jerome (Chunk) Carroll of Panama City, FL, Pierre Riddlesprigger of Pensacola, FL.  The joys of Johneice’s life were her beautiful grandchildren:  Christian Russaw, Hailey Ponds, Hannah Ponds, Elijah Knight, Isaiah Knight, Malcolm Knight, Lyric Jackson all of Dothan, AL, and Bella Riddlesprigger of Montgomery, AL. Her surviving siblings are:  Tina Riddlesprigger of Clarksville, TN, Jessica (James) Knight of Atmore, AL, Lonnie Riddlesprigger of Kansas City, MO, Richard Clanton of Dothan, AL, Plantus (Katrina) Clanton of Dothan, AL, Geraldine (Bobby) Bennett of Dothan, AL, and Archie (Laneka) Luckett of Dothan, AL. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Verna (Jean) Flowers.  Her companion is Lester Madison of Slocomb, AL. Johneice is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and beloved friends, who will miss her dearly.
