Jessie Mae McNealy

Mrs. Jessie McNealy, age 101, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020.

Drive through visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1 PM at Garden of Memory Cemetery.

Jessie Mae McNealey was born October 3, 1919 to the late Mr. Lois and Mrs. Lillie Glanton in Barbour County, Alabama.  She became a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church, early in life, where she was a faithful member until her health failed.

On December 19, 2020, she was called to rest.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Frank McNealy; parents: Lois and Lillie Glanton; brothers: Willie Glanton, Mack Glanton and Dan Glanton; sisters: Leslie Thomas, Emma Gibbs and Lillie Harris; and five daughters: Mae Willie Robinson, Brenda Harris, Gladis Marie, Mae Katherine and Mae Katherine and Mae Helen; and one grandchild: Don Vickers.

She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memories, five children: Janice (Jerry) Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida, Willie Fred (Alice) McNealey of Dothan, Alabama, Betty Vickers of Headland, Alabama, Larry (Esterella) McNealey of Atlanta, Georgia and James Russell of Miami, Florida; one brother: Wilbert Glanton; thirty grandchildren; twenty great grands and twenty-two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
